It’s that time of year again! I know many of you and your Groups kindly helped out by donating food as well as other much needed items for last year’s Food Drive.
This year the Omokoroa Food Bank Drive will be on Tuesday the 28th of November from 6.00 PM (also the national day for food drive collections and ties in with the Fire and Emergency NZ collection date).
You will know when the Food Bank Collectors are in your area as you will hear their sirens – please have your items ready and available for collection – you can leave your boxes/bags by your front doors or letter boxes.
Our Omokoroa Community has proven to be very supportive towards this worthy cause to help those who need some extra support.
Useful items are:
- Pasta
- Pasta sauces
- Rice
- Coffee
- Tea
- Biscuits
- Tinned goods (fish, soup, etc)
- Milo/powdered drinks
- Laundry detergent
- Toilet paper
- Toiletries – Soap, Toothpaste, Shampoo, etc
