Tennis NZ introduces the ITF World Tennis Number
In April 2023 Tennis New Zealand will be the first Federation in the Oceania region to introduce the ITF World Tennis Number (WTN) – a brand new, inclusive and modern rating system for all players. The International Tennis Federation (ITF), the world governing body of tennis, together with the LTA, the USTA and other leading tennis nations have cooperated in the development of the new rating system, which will be used by national associations around the world to help create a common language across tennis.
