Thank you – we had some great support. A special thank you due to Murray Treloar who stepped into the breach at the last minute to be our Match Controller. Also to the volunteers who turned up on the Friday afternoon to make sure our Courts looked sparkling for the event plus those who helped with the set up and pack down on Saturday. Not to forget the terrific job done in the kitchen with catering – the home baking treats were lovely!
After a last minute flurry of entries, we had at least 8 team draws in all events!
The weather was wonderful (though it was very hot); the games were competitive and we had a good crowd cheering and watching the various teams slugging it out from the Pavilion where all attendees also enjoyed lots of food and drinks.
