Further to our Fast 4 August tourney cancellation (because of the weather), we have rescheduled it (with the same $1,000.00 prizemoney) for Sunday the 17th of November 2019. There only appears to be some junior tournaments on that day – so hopefully it presents an opportunity for you to come to Waihi Beach and enjoy our hospitality.
I’m contacting you because you’ve either played before in one of our Fast 4 Invitational tourney’s or because your name has been passed on to me by a previous attendee.
Please share this widely with people that you play with/against – we want at least x 10 high quality teams of three. Ideally we want D5 players and better – but we’ll see how we go we won’t limit ourselves too early. Jody – are you able to share with the clubs please? Thanks in advance.
The details (as per previous):
- $100.00 per team paid on arrival, 1st Prize $600.00, 2nd Prize $300.00, 3rd Prize $100.00
- Entries need to be confirmed by midday Sunday 10th November 2019
- Fast 4 format, Teams of three, with 1 x woman (compulsory) in each team. The woman player must play a certain amount of matches (detail tbc when entry numbers are finalised but probably x 3)
- Please advise “soonest” that you’re keen and we can lock a team place for you (even if you may not have a full team yet – just let me know). If you want to play and need a partner/s – let me know please – we might be able to make up a “all sorts combo’ team” for you.
- We might be able to assist with a discount on accommodation at the Waihi Beach Top 10 Holiday Resort if you wish to stay. Go online and look at what you would like to book and let me know, and I’ll sort out a discount code through the owner.
